Public Toilets for Drymen

The lack of public toilets in Drymen can be difficult, particularly in the busy summer season. For some time Drymen Community Development Trust has been working to find a solution to this problem, and over the 23/24 winter we commissioned a study to look at the feasibility of building and operating public toilets in the village.

The findings of the study were shared with the community at public drop-ins and meetings on Tuesday 6 February 2024. The full feasibility report can be downloaded below.

The findings suggest that covering the costs of operating a public toilet are likely to be challenging for a small community. However DCDT will continue to engage with the National Park, Stirling Council and other relevant parties to find a solution.
